Costuming - May 8, 2010

Friends of Wasioja Costuming Committee's spring event will feature Marci Ukura a seamstress for self 54 years Marci is a member of Living History Society of Minnesota, North Star Chapter of the Victorian Society of America and St Croix Carriage Society.  She has studied with Susan Thimsen of Thimsen Designs, Joy Melcher of Civil War Lady Co,  bonnet maker Beth Turza, and Renae Pinkerton, the Sewing Mistress of the Living History Society.  Marci will present “Clothing from the Skin Out of a Civil War Lady”on May 8, 2010 at the Mantorville Opera House.

Civil War Quilt Raffle

Raffle tickets for the Civil War Quilt willl be ready in April 2010.
